Island Hopping Preparations

 So, my Island Hopping trip is planned - accommodation and ferries booked. I'll be visiting the Isles of Bute, Skye & Harris in early September 2022. As usual, I will be taking my trusty GoPro & travel camera - photos will be published here and on Flickr - Videos will be posted on my YouTube channel.

Here's my route:-

I'll be starting in the Scottish Borders; 

• Day 1 - I will be heading to Wemyss Bay - catching the ferry to Rothesay, then spending the night on the Isle of Bute.
  
  
• Day 2 - I will ride up the coast to Mallaig via Oban & Fort William - then catch the ferry to Armadale.
  
  
• Day 3 - I will ride the length of Skye to catch the ferry from Uig to Tarbert on Harris.
  
  
• Day 4 - This will be an early start to get the ferry from Stornoway to Ullapool - Then ride part of the NC500 to my hotel at Fort Augustus in the highlands.
  
  
• Day 5 - I will ride back to the borders via the Highlands and the Cairngorms.
